The University of Cape Town English Language Centre (ELC) is a proud new member on the Schools & Agents network. The University of Cape Town (UCT) just made headlines retaining its spot among the top 40 most international universities. The UCT English Language Centre is a language school within the University of Cape Town. ELC offers a wide range of English Language courses: General English including conversational English, Business English, English for Academic purposes and IELTS preparation. Students can start their course any Monday and study for any number of weeks.

ELC recently started a collaboration with Kurus English and now offers an experiential learning programme called Language Excursions. The course combines General English in the morning with out of the classroom conversation classes in the afternoon. During these Language Excursions ELC students have the opportunity to practice the English language while encountering interesting and diverse people in and around Cape Town.

ELC has been teaching face-to-face classes since August last year and classes run smoothly and effectively with a strict COVID-19 health protocol in place. ELC is well prepared to welcome new students to Cape Town, South Africa.
